Community Outreach

Giving back to our community and world is core to our mission and responsibility.

One way we’ve chosen to give back to our community is by providing regular pet owner education seminars free of charge for clients.

Atlantic Veterinary Hospital also supports groups that work to provide loving homes for rescued pets, including:

Seattle Animal Shelter

We work cooperatively with the Seattle Animal Shelter to raise funds for and to provide medical care for injured or ill animals.

The Feral Cat Spay & Neuter Project

We raise funds for the Feral Cat Spay & Neuter Clinic, and Dr. Monahan has served as a volunteer surgeon.

The Humane Society for Seattle / King County

We raise funds for the Humane Society and honor their free first exam coupons.

MEOW Cat Rescue

We raise funds the MEOW Cat Rescue, a wonderful no-kill kitty shelter in Kirkland, WA.

We also support Habitat for Humanity, an organization that builds homes for hard-working families, and World Vision, a Seattle-based humanitarian organization that provides schooling, medical care, clean water, and small business and farming assistance for low-income families throughout the world.

Please visit the bulletin board in our reception lobby to learn more about what we’re doing and explore ways you can get involved.
